Fitter of Marine Engineering Plant and Equipment
Job description:
- dis/assembly of equipment on a ship and in a workshop,
- repairs of machines and equipment according to process documentation,
- preparing repaired equipment for verification and acceptance tests,
- conducting control, measuring, adjustment and other actions involved in the assessment of the technical condition and a commissioning stage,
- working with equipment designated for vertical and horizontal transport, and
- participating in aligning of power transmission systems.
Expectations:
- basic / secondary technical education,
- familiarity with the structure of marine engineering plant, equipment and repair technologies,
- ability to assess a technical condition of marine engineering plant and equipment,
- technical drawing reading skills,
- experience in work related to the shipyard sector,
- diligence and accuracy in the performance of duties,
- team-working spirit,
- flexibility and availability, and
- readiness to travel on business abroad.
